Transferring Calls 6.1 Transferring Calls You can transfer calls from one station to another in one of two ways. If you first identify the caller to the party to receive the transfer, thus giving that user the opportunity to prepare for the call, you have made a screened transfer. If you transfer the call without first announcing it, you have made an unscreened transfer.
