Placing Documen\b\f on \bhe Pla\ben Gla\f\f 1 Open the feeder. 2 Pla\be your do\bument fa\be down. 3 Align the do\bument with the appropriate paper size marks . If the document doe\Is not match any of the paper siz\Ie marks, align the center of your document with \Ithe arrow mark. A4B4A5 A5 B4A4 4 Close the feeder. The machine is ready to scan or copy the document. When scanning or c\Iopying is complete, remove the document from the platen glass. Placing Documen\b\f in \bhe Feeder 1 Spread the do\bument guides a little wi\Lder than the do\bument width. 2 \fan the do\bument sta\bk and align the edges of the pages. Thoroughly fan in small batches \flign the edges on a fat surface a few times 3 Neatly pla\be the do\bument fa\be up. • Place the document u\Inder the load limit\I guides (A). • Make sur e that the paper s\Itack does not exceed the load limit\I marks (B).
