Configuring the System Community
The value that you set must match the write community name
of the SNMP host to enable the SNMP Set operation.  If you
enable SNMP but the community name is not set, SNMP goes
into read-only mode.
To configure the system community:
1. On the Main Menu, select Configure SNMP.

To configure the TFTP Server:
Copy the following files to a directory on your PC, in the
path that the TFTP Server will use to send files to the
PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module:
acos.bin
release.dat
boot.bin
callcontrol.vg
cucomcpe.vg
tbcpe.vg
mgcp_rg.vg
aal2.vg

Using Telnet
To upgrade the PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module software
using TFTP via Telnet:
1. Use a Telnet program to connect to the PARTNER ACS
1600 DSL module.
For more information, see the Getting started chapter.
2. Follow the procedures described in the Using TFTP
section.
Verifying the download
To verify that the file downloaded successfully
1. On the Main Menu, select System Utilities.

You can use the Trivial File Transfer Protocol (TFTP) to
upgrade the PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module software.  To
use TFTP to upgrade, you must properly configure both the
PARTNER ACS 1600 DSL module and the computer that
contains the TFTP Server program, a program that you must
purchase separately.
