Insert a black stick between the inside of the bezel and the display’s metal frame. Slide the black stick around the corner to the bottom edge to begin to separate the adhesive 10. until a putty knife can be inserted behind the black stick.

Warning: Be extremely careful at the center, where the camera and board assembly are located. Keep the putty knife flat while passing to the next adhesive strip, or damage can result.

If reinstalling the display panel Leave residual adhesive on the panel’s perimeter frame. Remove any clumps of adhesive. 1. If installing a replacement display panel Install the two provided (clear plastic) shims onto the sides of the display panel. Carefully 1. align the screw holes and apply straight. The straight edge goes on the display screen side (shown down here). Do not install if the shims are already installed on the panel.
