EKT’s speaker after single tone signal. 
l Called station’s INT LED: l-called flash. 
p) Dial fl at calling station. 
0 Tone signalling heard via the called sta- 
tion’s speaker. 
q) Adjust tone signalling volume with volume 
control on the right side of the EKT being 
tested. 
r) Depress the m key. 
I INT LED: l-use flash.

l Listen for intercom dial tone via the EKT...

a) Lift the OPL telephone handset and listen 
for CO dial tone. 
b) Verify that the corresponding CO line LED 
lights on the system EKTs. 
c) Dial a test call from the OPL telephone. 
l Verify that a 2-way voice connection is 
established. 
d) Depress the corresponding line key on an 
EKT. 
0 Verify that the privacy feature prevents 
access. 
e) Go on-hook at OPL telephone. 
f) Depress the OPL CO line key on an EKT and 
listen for CO dial tone. 
g) Dial a test call from the EKT.

on the HINU PCB (EXP terminal).
