1. GENERAL 
1.01 
This section describes the maintenance 
procedures that are used for the diagnosis of faults 
in the PERCEPTlONe and PERCEPTIONex Dig- 
ital Hybrid/ PBX systems. To eliminate system 
faults, faults must first be classified and then cleared 
by replacing the defective apparatus. Operational 
tests can then be performed to verify correct appa-
