    Adjusting the Projector Zoom and Focus
    1. Adjust the image by rotating the zoom ring. Rotate to the right to reduc\
    e the image.Rotate to the left to enlarge the image.
    2. Focus the image by rotating the focus ring.  A still image is recommended for focusing.

    Position the projector in a horizontal position; other positions can cause heat
    build-up and damage to the projector.
    Make sure the heat ventilation holes are not blocked.Do not use the projector in a smoky environment. Smoke residue may cause\

    Adjusting Projection Image Size
    Refer to the graphic and table below to determine the screen size and projection distance.

    Menu Operation
    The projector has multilingual On Screen Display menus that allow you to make image
    adjustments and change a variety of settings.

    How to operate
    1. Press MENU button to open the OSD menu.
    2. When OSD is displayed, use  S / T  buttons to select any feature in the main menu.
    After selecting the desired main menu feature, press  X button to enter sub-menu for
    feature setting.
    3. Adjust the settings with  W /  X buttons.
    4. Press  MENU button, the screen will return to the main menu.
    5. To exit OSD, press  MENU button again. The OSD menu will close and the projector
    will automatically save the new settings.

    Picture (Computer Mode)
    Brightness
    Adjusts brightness of the image.
    QPress W to darken the image.QPress  X to lighten the image.
    Contrast
    Adjusts contrast of the image.
    QPress  W  to decrease the contrast.QPress  X  to increase the contrast.
    Fine Sync
    “Fine Sync” synchronizes the signal timing of the display with that of the graphic card. If
    you experience an unstable or flickering image, use the fine sync functi\
    on to correct it.
    Total Dots“Total Dots” changes the display data frequency to match the frequency of your computer’\
    s
    graphic card. If you experience a vertical flickering bar, use this function to make an
    adjustment.
    Sharpness
    Adjusts the sharpness of the image.
    QPress  W to decrease the sharpness.QPress  X to increase the sharpness.
    Color Temperature
    Adjusts color temperature. At higher temperature, the screen looks colder; at lower
    temperature, the screen looks warmer. If you select “USER”, “Re\
    d”, “Green” and “Blue” can
    be adjusted.
    Red
    Manually adjusts red.
    Green
    Manually adjusts green.
    Blue

    Picture (Video Mode)
    Brightness

    Adjusts contrast of the image.
    Sharpness
    Adjusts the sharpness of the image.
    Color
    Adjusts the color saturation of the image.
    Tint
    Adjusts the color balance of red and green.
    Color Temperature
    Adjusts color temperature. At higher temperature, the screen looks colder; at lower
    temperature, the screen looks warmer. If you select “USER”, “Re\
    d”, “Green” and “Blue” can
    be adjusted.

    Manually adjusts red.

    Image (Computer Mode)
    Aspect
    Use this function to choose your desired image
    size.
    Q1 TO 1 : Keep the image with original width-
    height ratio.
    QFILL  ASPECT : Maintain the original aspect
    ration of the input signal while enlarging to fill
    as much of the output display as possible. 16:
    9 input on a 4:3 output will result in back bars
    on the top and bottom.
    QFILL ALL : The input source will be scaled to
    fit the projection screen.
    1 TO 1
    FILL ASPECT (PC only) If input signal is smaller than LCD
    resolution, it will keep the original
    size and aspect ratio.
    If input signal is bigger than LCD
    resolution, it will full all the whole
    screen and ignore the aspect ratio.
    ex. 1600x960 is 16:9 signal, but the
    actual image is 16:10.

    If the aspect ratio is different with the
    LCD, it will keep the input signal
    aspect and fit the maximun size.

    Image (Video Mode)
    Aspect
    Use this function to choose your desired image size.
    Q4 : 3 : Change the original aspect 1:1 to 4:3 at the composite video inputor S-video input.
    Q1  TO  1 : Keep the image with original width-height ratio at the component input.
    QFILL ALL : The input source will be scaled to fit the projection screen.
    QANAMORPHIC : M aintain the original aspect  ratio in the center of the output image
    and place the majority of the distortion towards the horizontal edges
    of the image.
    ANAMORPHIC (Video only)
    Freeze
    QChoose “ON” to freeze the screen image.QChoose “OFF” to unfreeze the screen image.

    No matter what input signal is, out
    put aspect ratio is 16:9 and fit to the

    Menu Position
    Choose the menu location on the display screen.
    Mounting
    Q Front-Desktop
    The factory default setting.
    Q Front-Ceiling
    When you select this function, the projector turns the image upside down\
     for ceiling-
    mounted projection.
    Q Rear-Desktop
    When you select this function, the projector reverses the image so you c\
    an project behind
    a translucent screen.
    Q Rear-Ceiling
    When you select this function, the projector reverses and turns the imag\
    e upside down at
    same time. You can project from behind a translucent screen with ceiling mounted
    projection.
    ECO Mode
    Use this function to dim the projector lamp light output which will lower power consumption
    and increase lamp life.
    Input Search
    Use to automatically search input signal.
    Highland
    Turn on Highland mode operates the fans at full speed continuously to al\
    low for proper
    high altitude cooling of the projector.
    Logo
    Choose to display the logo or not.
    Lamp Counter
    Displays Hour the lamp’s elapsed operating time (in hours).
    Lamp Counter Reset
    Press  X to enter its sub-menu. Press  MENU button to turn the lamp hour counter to 0
    hours.
    Keystone
    Adjusts image distortion caused by tilting the projector.
    OSD Transparency
    Use to adjust OSD’s transparency.
    OSD Timeout
    Duration OSD menu stays active (at idle state by second).
