15 BEFORE OPERATION To insure safe operation, please observe the following precautions : Use (2) AA, UM3 or R06 type alkaline batteries. Replace two batteries at the same time. Do not use a new battery with an used battery. Avoid contact with water or liquid. Do not expose Remote Control Unit to moisture, or heat. Do not drop Remote Control Unit. 17 BEFORE OPERATION HOW TO OPERATE ON-SCREEN MENU FLOW OF ON-SCREEN MENU OPERATION Display ON-SCREEN MENU Press MENU button to display ON-SCREEN MENU (MENU BAR). A red frame is POINTER. 19 BASIC OPERATION TURNING ON PROJECTOR Connect the projectors AC Power Cord into an AC outlet. LAMP Indicator lights RED, and READY Indicator lights GREEN. Press POWER ON-OFF button on Top Control or on Remote Control Unit to ON. LAMP Indicator dims, and Cooling Fans start to operate. Preparation Display appears on a screen and the count-down starts.
