    Learning Voice Control Basics
     
    ●Moving the focus
    Say " Focus Left ", "Focus Right ", "Focus Up", or " Focus Down" to move the focus. These 
    commands can only be used in situations when the focus can be moved.
     
    ●Selecting an item
    Say " Select" to confirm the selection. 
     
    ●View available Voice Commands:
    Say " View commands". A list of basic voice commands available in context is shown.
     
    ●View all Voice Commands:
    Say " Help" to display a complete list of voice commands by category. Say the name of a 
    category.
     
    ●Deactivating Voice Control
    Say " Close Voice Recognition ", or press the VOICE button. This terminates Voice Control.

    The TV recognizes predefined voice commands only. These voice commands may differ from the manual 
    depending on the version of the TV.
    Changing the Voice Control Language
    MENU  > System >  Voice Control >  Language
    Navigate to System >  Voice Control > Language, and then select a preferred language from the list. 
    Now you can use Voice Control in the specified language.

    Interactive Voice Control is not available in some languages. If the language you wanted initially is not

    Using Interactive Voice Control
    Interactive Voice Control allows you to set up a Schedule Viewing, access VODs (Videos on Demand), 
    search for and launch applications, and execute various other functions using specified voice 
    commands without having to remember specific commands or keywords. Saying "Schedule Viewing 
    ***(Title)", for example, instructs the TV to schedule a program for later viewing.

    If you use the Interactive Voice Control function at least once, the TV will change the on-screen menu name 
    from  Voice Control to  Voice Interaction.
    Activate Voice Interaction and say a command. See the examples below:
     
    ●When you don't know which channel a specific program is on:
    "Run ***(Title)" / "Play ***(Title)" / "Watch ***(Title)"
     
    ●When you want to find a specific program or content item
    "***(Title)" / "Find ***(title)")
     
    ●When you want to watch a program featuring a specific actor:
    "***(cast member)" / "Anything with ***(cast member)"
     
    ●When you want to reserve and record a program or cancel a scheduled program.

    Enabling/Disabling TV Voice
    This function is only available in the U.S.A. and Canada.
    Enable/disable the TV's voice responses to your Voice Control commands. Navigate to System >  Voice 
    Control menu, and then select  TV Voice.
    Selecting a Gender for the TV Voice
    This function is only available in the U.S.A. and Canada.
    Navigate to System > Voice Control > Voice Gender, and select a gender for the TV voice.

    Controlling the TV with Your Voice (for SEK 2500U)
    MENU > System >  Voice Control
    You can access and select certain menu options and functions using voice commands. For more 
    effective voice recognition, speak slowly and clearly in the language specified in the System >  Voice 
    Control >  Language option.
     
    ●Interactive and Imperative Voice Control
    Voice Control has two modes: Interactive voice control and Imperative voice control. Interactive 
    voice control lets you give "conversational" instructions to the TV. Imperative voice control 
    requires you to use pre-defined commands. To use Interactive voice control, you must set up 
    Smart Hub, set the clock, and agree to the user's agreement on the use of terms. If you try to 
    use Interactive voice control without completing all of these requirements, the TV displays a 
    notification pop-up. If the pop-up appears, follow the on-screen instructions and complete the 
    necessary settings. Imperative voice control is available regardless of the Interactive voice control 
    settings.

    Testing Noise Around the TV's Built-in Microphone
    MENU  > System >  Voice Control >  Voice Recognition Environment Test
    This test determines how well Voice Recognition will work in the TV’s current environment. Perform 
    the Voice Recognition Environment test before using Voice Recognition to make sure it functions 
    properly.
    11 Stand within 13.1 feet of the TV.
    21 Select  Start to measure the ambient noise. If the ambient noise level is suitable, the test will 
    continue to the next step. If this part of the test fails, remain quiet and try again.
    31 The second part of the test measures the volume and clarity of your voice. A command will 
    appear on the TV's screen. Say the command loudly and clearly within 30 seconds. If the TV 
    successfully recognizes your voice, the test continues to the next step. If this part of the test 
    fails, try again.
    41 The third part of the test measures the level of echo in the surrounding area. If the echo level is 
    suitable, the Voice Recognition Environment Test will end.

    Using Imperative Voice Control
    11 Press the VOICE button on the Samsung Smart Control. When the microphone icon appears on 
    the screen, you can use the Voice Control function.
    21 Say a command. You can use Voice Control to operate the TV when you are watching a TV 
    program or other videos.

    Say the command 4 to 6 inches from the microphone on the Samsung Smart Control. Voice commands 
    may not be recognized properly if you speak too softly or loudly. The optimal volume for voice 
    commands is between 75 dB and 80dB.
    Using the  Voice Recognition Tutorial
    MENU > Support >  Voice Recognition Tutorial
    The tutorial lets you familiarize yourself with the basics of using Voice Control. Run  Voice Recognition 
    Tutorial  from the Support menu, or run Voice Control and say "Quick Guide".
    Checking Ambient Noise and Illumination (Voice & Motion Control Environment 
    Check)
    MENU > Support >  Self Diagnosis >  Voice & Motion Control Environment Check
    Navigate to Support >  Self Diagnosis and select  Voice & Motion Control Environment Check. This 
    function tests the ambient noise and brightness levels surrounding the TV camera and microphone to 
    ensure if they are suitable for voice and motion control use.

    Controlling the TV using Motions (Motion Control)
    MENU > System >  Motion Control
    Motion Control lets you change channels, adjust the volume, and control the pointer while searching 
    the web using Smart Hub.
    Motion Control is not available while this function is in use.
     
    –When you are playing UHD-level video saved on a USB device
     
    –When viewing the digital channel with UHD-level resolution

    The Motion Control function is not available on the UN110S9VF model.
     
    "Please note that not all apps support Motion Control.

    [UN105S9WAF models need to be connected to the TV camera in order to use Motion Control. 
    The optional TV camera must be connected to the dedicated USB port at the back of the TV. 
    No other USB port is available for this purpose.
    Testing Ambient Illumination Using the TV Camera
    MENU  > System >  Motion Control >  Motion Control Environment Test
    Run this test before using Motion Control to ensure proper functionality.
    11 Stand 5 to 11.5 feet (1.5 to 3.5m) from the TV screen. Initiate the Motion Control Environment 
    Test, and then select  Start. If the TV screen is reflecting light or there are objects moving in the 
    background, the TV may not recognize the motion of your hand.
    21 Face the TV camera, and follow the onscreen instructions. Raise your hand from a comfortable 
    position with the index finger fully extended upwards, and then move your hand left or right 
    slowly. A pointer appears on the screen when the TV recognizes the action. If recognition fails, 
    change the hand position and try again.
    Checking Ambient Noise and Illumination
    MENU > Support > Self Diagnosis  > Voice Control Environment Check  or Motion Control Environment 
    Check  (This may differ, depending on the model.)
    Navigate to Support >  Self Diagnosis and select  Voice Control Environment Check or Motion Control 
    Environment Check (This may differ, depending on the model.). This function tests the ambient noise 
    and brightness levels surrounding the TV camera and microphone to ensure if they are suitable for 
    voice and motion control use.

    Activating Motion Control
    MENU > System >  Motion Control >  Motion Control Try Now
    To enable Motion Control, face the TV camera and raise your hand from a comfortable position with 
    your index finger fully extended upwards, and then move your hand slowly left or right. When your 
    hand is successfully recognized by the TV camera, Motion Control is activated and a pointer appears 
    on the screen.

    When Motion Control is activated, a pop-up window appears and guides you through the basics of using 
    Motion Control.
     
    "Moving your hand out of the range of the TV camera deactivates Motion Control. To reactivate Motion 
    Control, simply move your hand toward the TV camera within 3 seconds.
     
    "Motion Control may be terminated if your index finger is not fully extended or you move it to fast.

    Learning Motion Control Basics
    The following basic motion control commands are available:
     
    ●Moving the pointer
    Moving your hand moves the pointer accordingly.
     
    ●Selecting an item
    Fold down and raise your index finger to select items. This is the equivalent of clicking a mouse 
    button. You can select a TV menu or run a function. Keeping your index finger lowered is like 
    holding down a remote control button.
