If the recording paper becomes jammed in the machine, the display will show an Information Code 001, 
002, 007 or 008.
NOTE1. The Recording Paper Jam message display is reset only by opening and closing of the Printer 
Cover.
Clearing a Recording Paper Jam
To clear the jam, Info. Code 001, 002 or 0 08
1(1) Slide out the Paper Cassette and remove 
the Paper Cassette Cover.
(2) Remove the jammed or wrinkled paper and 
reload the recording paper into the paper 
cassette....

If the receiving party reports that the received documents were black, or contained black lines, try making a 
copy on your unit to verify.  If the copy is black or has black lines, the document Scanning Area is probably 
dirty and must be cleaned.

The Verification Stamp contains ink.  When the stamp ma rk a ppears fa ded or hard to see, the sta mp sh ould 
be replaced or refilled with ink.
NOTE1. Please contact your local Panasonic dealer to purchase a new stamp. See page 146
