1Abra la cubierta de ADF (1) mientras sostiene la cubierta de 
documentos (

2Cuando el documento está atascado cerca de la entrada 
de documentos:
Quite con cuidado el documento atascado (3).
Cuando el documento está atascado cerca de la salida de 
documentos:
Abra la bandeja de documentos (4) y retire cuidadosamente 
el documento atascado (
5).
3Cierre la cubierta ADF.
4Pulse {Stop} para cancelar el mensaje.

13.1 Limpieza de las placas blancas y 
el vidrio
Limpie las placas blancas y el vidrio cuando aparezca una línea 
negra o blanca o un patrón sucio en:
– su papel de impresión,
– el documento original,
– los datos escaneados o
– el documento de fax que recibió del otro usuario.
Atención:
LNo utilice productos de papel como toallas o pañuelos de 
papel para limpiarlo.
1Abra la cubierta de documentos (1).
2Sostenga la cubierta de documentos (2) mientras limpia las 
placas blancas (
3) y el vidrio del escáner (4).
3Cierre la cubierta de documentos (5).

13.2 Limpieza de los rodillos del 
alimentador de documentos
Limpie los rodillos cuando tenga problemas frecuentes de 
alimentación de documentos.
Atención:
LNo utilice productos de papel como toallas o pañuelos de 
papel para limpiarlo.
1APAGUE el interruptor de corriente.
2Abra la cubierta de ADF (1) mientras sostiene la cubierta de 
documentos (
2).
3Limpie los rodillos alimentadores de documentos (3) con un 
paño humedecido en agua, y deje secar completamente 
todas las partes.
4Cierre la cubierta ADF.
5ENCIENDA el interruptor de corriente.

Nota:
LExisten diversos factores que determinan la vida real del 
cartucho de tóner, como la temperatura, la humedad, el tipo 
de papel y cuánto tóner se utiliza para el número de páginas 
por trabajo de impresión. El número real de páginas que 
imprimirá su cartucho de tóner puede ser significativamente 
menor que este cálculo si su unidad se usa con frecuencia 
para imprimir cantidades pequeñas de páginas por trabajo. 
Debido a que no es posible controlar muchos de los factores 
que determinan la vida real del cartucho de tóner, no 
podemos garantizar la cantidad mínima de páginas que éste 
imprimirá.
LEl número de páginas cambia con la profundidad, el grosor y 
el tamaño de los caracteres.
LSi enciende la función de ahorro de tóner, el cartucho de tóner 
durará aproximadamente un 20 % más.
Vida del tambor
