22 Programmable Settings Selecting the Ringer Volume You can set the base unit and cordless handset ringer volumes to HIGH, LOW or OFF. If set to OFF, the base unit/handset will not ring. Your phone comes from the factory set to HIGH. Programming must be carried out separately for the base unit and cordless handset(s).
