2.12 Date and time
Date and time can be set using either the 
handset or the base unit.
2.12.1 Using the handset
Make sure the base unit and the handset are 
not being used.
1Press {CONF/FUNCTION}.
2Scroll to “Date and time” by pressing {v} 
or {e}.
3Press {>}.
LThe cursor (|) will appear on the display.
4Enter the 4-digit year, and 2 digits each for 
the month and day (8 digits in all).

3.1 Making phone calls
3.1.1 Using the handset
1Lift the handset and press {TA L K}.
2Dial the telephone number.
3When finished talking, press {OFF} or place 
the handset on the charger.
Note:
LTo use the “PRIVACY” (call privacy) feature 
using the soft key (page 10), see page 48.
