12 How to in\fta\b\b and con\gnect the unit(continued) pwWhen u\fing the WV- Q105 (optiona\b acce\f\g\fory) It is recommended th\gat you provide an inspection \gopening or other su\gch space for access purposes in the area \gnear where the equipment is insta\glled in order to facilitate installa\gtion and the wiring connections work. Before mounting the mo\gunt bracket, check that the install\gation location is \gstrong enough to wi\gthstand the total m\gass (approx. 2.0 kg [4.41 lb]) which will be\g exerted once the camera is mounted. When installing the\g unit on a ceiling,\g ensure that there\g is at least 100 mm of space above the ceiling panel\g in the place wher\ge the unit will be u\gsed. The unit can be in\gstalled on a ceilin\gg panel with a thic\gkness ranging from 5 mm to 40 mm. The drop-prevention wire (suppl\gied with the WV - Q105) must be used when mo\gunting the direct ce\giling mount bracket. 13 Installation Instructions How to in\fta\b\b and con\gnect the unit(continued) When in\fta\b\bing the \gunit on a wa\b\b (in\ft\ga\b\bation examp\be) 1 Before proceeding, fa\fhion an L-\fhaped mounting fixt\gure, and attach the fixture \fecur\ge\by to the wa\b\b where the unit wi\b\b\g be in\fta\b\bed. IMPORTANT pBefore installing the \gunit, check that the surface of the wall where the unit\g will be installed \gis strong enough to\g bear not only the \gtotal weight (approx. 2.0 kg [4.41 lb]) of the camera once it has been\g installed but also the weight of the L-shap\ged mounting fixture \gand its supports. p Use suppor ts that are strong \genough to withstand \gthe total weight of the camera once it has been\g installed and any vibration or other forces to secure th\ge L-shaped mounting \gfixture. If the supports are not capable of bearing this weight and forces, the unit may become detached fr\gom the installation surface or it may fall off, possibly causing injury. AW- HE60 L-\fhaped mounting fixture Support 2 Refer to \ftep\f 1 to 3 in “When in\fta\b\bing the\g unit on a cei\bing” (page 12), and in\fta\b\b the AW- HE60.

Note 6 Di\fengage the drop-prevention wire from the mount bracket.
16 Stand-a\bone in\fta\b\ba\gtion (when the mount bra\gcket i\f going to be u\g\fed) The same steps are\g followed as for the kind of inst\gallation where the\g unit is suspended f\grom an overhead surface (pages 8 to 11). 1 Check the mounting \fpace\g. pAs with installing \gthe unit suspended f\grom an o verhead surface, carefully check the space where \gthe unit will be mounted, and then dec\gide if it is approp\griate to install th\ge unit in that spa\gce. Note 2 Mount the mount bra\gcket onto the in\fta\b\g\bation \furface. Bracket mounting \fcrew\f 4 (\fupp\bied) (M4, bind-head) 3 Attach the drop-prevention wire. 4 Mount the unit. pAlign the position \gof the hole f or checking the positionin\gg with the status di\gsplay lamp. p Align the holes on \gthe camer a main unit used to\g insert the bottom panel\g with the protrusions on the moun\gt bracket used for inserting the camera, push the bracket and camera firmly together, and rotate the ma\gin unit by about 15 degrees in the direction of th\ge arrow. p Secure the mount b\gr acket to the unit usi\gng the main unit mo\gunting screw (\b3) as supplied.
