    ∫Check or change the acquired login ID/password
    Preparation:
    To change the “LUMIX CLUB” password on the camera, access the “LUMIX CLUB” website 
    from your smartphone or PC and change t he “LUMIX CLUB” password in advance.
    1Select [Wi-Fi Setup] in the [Wi-Fi] menu.  (P41)2Press 3/4  to select [LUMIX CLUB], and press [MENU/SET].3Press  3/4  to select [Add/Change Account], and press [MENU/SET].
    4Press 3/4 to select [Change Login ID], and press [MENU/SET].•The login ID and password are displayed.•The password is displayed as “ ”.
    •Close the menu if only checking the login ID.
    5Press  3/4  to select the login ID or password you want to 
    change, and press [MENU/SET].
    •
    The confirmation screen is displayed when changing the login ID. 
    Select [Yes].
    6Enter the login ID or password, and press [MENU/SET].
    •Refer to “Entering Text”  (P71)  for information on how to enter text.•Enter the new password you have created on your smartphone or PC into the camera. If the 
    password differs from the one you created on your smartphone or PC, you will not be able to 
    upload images.
    •Close the menu after changing settings.
    ∫To set the same login ID for the camera and the smartphone
    •Setting the same login ID for this unit and the smartphone is convenient for sending images in this 
    unit to other devices or SNS.
    When either this unit or the smartphone has acquired the login ID:
    1Connect this unit to the smartphone.  (P109)
    2From the “LUMIX LINK” menu, set the common login ID.
    •The login IDs for this unit and the smartphone become the same.
    •After connecting this unit to the smartphone, the setup screen for a common login ID may appear 
    when you display the playback screen. You can also set a common login ID by following the 
    on-screen instructions.
    When this unit and the smartphone have acquired different login IDs:
    (When you want to use the smartphone’s login ID for this unit)
    Change the login ID and password for this unit to those acquired by the smartphone.
    (When you want to use this unit’s login ID for the smartphone )
    Change the login ID and password for the smartphone to those acquired by this unit.

    ∫Check the “LUMIX CLUB” terms of use
    Check the details if the terms of use have been updated.

    •The camera will connect to the network and the terms of use will be displayed. Close the menu 
    after checking the terms of use.
    ∫ Delete your login ID and account from the “LUMIX CLUB”
    Delete the login ID from the camera when transferring it to another party or disposing of it. You 
    can also delete your “LUMIX CLUB” account.

    •The message is displayed. Press [MENU/SET].
    4Select [Yes] in the login ID delete confirmation screen.
    •The message is displayed. Press [MENU/SET].
    5Select [Yes] on the confirmation screen for deleting the “LUMIX CLUB” account.
    •If you want to continue using t he service, selecting [No] will only  delete the login ID. Exit the 
    menu after it is executed.
    6Press [MENU/SET].
    •The login ID is deleted, and then the message notifying the deletion of your account is 
    displayed. Press [MENU/SET].
    •Exit the menu after it is executed.
    Note
    •Changes and other actions to login IDs can only  be made to the login ID acquired with the camera.
    You can view and change this unit’s device name,  which is used for operating this unit as a 
    wireless access point.

    destination AV device issued by “LUMIX CLUB”.

    To prevent incorrect operation or use of the Wi-Fi function by a third party and to protect 
    saved personal information, it is recommended that you protect the Wi-Fi function with a 
    password.
    Setting a password will automatically display the password input screen when the Wi-Fi 
    function is used.
    1Select [Wi-Fi Setup] in the [Wi-Fi] menu. (P41)
    2Press 3/4 to select [Wi-Fi Password], and press [MENU/SET].
    3Press 3/4 to select [Setup], and press [MENU/SET].
    4Enter a password and press [MENU/SET].

    5Enter the password entered in step  4 again and press [MENU/SET].

    ∫ Cancel the Wi-Fi password

    •Confirmation screen is displayed. It is executed when [Yes] is selected.

    •Make a copy of password. If you forget the password, you can reset it with [Reset Wi-Fi Settings] in 
    the [Setup] menu, however other settings will also be reset.
    •The password entered when using the Wi-Fi fu nction will be active until turn this unit off.

    Displays the MAC address set for the camera.
    A “MAC Address” is a unique address that is used to identify network equipment.
    1Select [Wi-Fi Setup] in the [Wi-Fi] menu.  (P41)
    2Press 3/4 to select [MAC Address], and press [MENU/SET].
    •The MAC address of the camera is displayed. Close the menu after checking the address.
    •For details, refer to  P48.
    •The “LUMIX CLUB” login ID is separate to [Reset Wi-Fi Settings] in the Setup Menu, and cannot be 
    deleted. Instead, delete it with [Delete account] in [LUMIX CLUB].  (P132)
    The technical compliance standard authentication number is displayed.

    Connecting to other equipment
    Playing Back Pictures on a TV Screen
    Pictures recorded with this unit can be played back on a TV screen.
    •Please use the optional AV cable (DMW-AVC1).
    Preparations:
    Set the [TV Aspect]. (P48)
    Turn this unit and the TV off.
    1Connect the camera and a TV.
    •Check the directions of the connectors, and plug th em straight in or unplug them straight out. 
    (Otherwise the connectors may bend out of shape, which may cause malfunction.)
    •Always use a genuine Panasonic AV cable (DMW-AVC1: optional).
    2Turn the TV on and select external input.
    3Turn the camera on and then press [ (].
    Note
    •Depending on the [Picture Size], black bands may be  displayed on the top and bottom or the left and 
    right of the pictures.
    •Change the screen mode on your TV if the pictur e is displayed with the top or bottom cut off.•When you play back a picture vertically, it may be blurry.•When pictures are displayed, they may not be displayed properly depending on the type of TV.
    •No sound is output from the camera speakers.•Read the operating instructions for the TV.

    Connecting to other equipment
    The recorded still pictures can be played back on a TV with an SD Memory Card slot.
    •Depending on the TV model, pictures may not be displayed on the full screen.•Motion pictures cannot be played back. To play back motion pictures, connect the camera to the 
    TV with the AV cable (optional).
    •In some cases, panorama pictures cannot be played back. Also, auto-scroll playback of 
    panorama pictures may not work.
    •For cards compatible with playback, refer to the operating instructions of the TV.

    Connecting to other equipment
    Saving still pictures and motion pictures on your PC
    You can transfer the pictures in the camera to a PC by connecting the camera and the PC.
    •Some PCs can read directly from the card removed from the camera. For details, refer to the 
    operating instructions of your PC.
    •If the computer being used does not support SDXC Memory Cards, a message prompting you 
    to format may appear. (Doing so will cause recorded images to be erased so do not choose to 
    format.)

    ∫PC that can be used
    The unit can be connected to any PC capable of recognizing a mass storage device.
    Preparations:
    Install “ PHOTOfunSTUDIO ” to the PC.
    •
    Read the “Basic Owner’s Manual” for more information about install.
    •Windows support: Windows 7/ Windows Vista/Windows XP
    •Mac support:OS X v10.1 ~ v10.7
    The software “ PHOTOfunSTUDIO ” on the CD-ROM 
    (supplied) can be used to save all the still pictures and motion 
    pictures recorded by the camera in their various formats to 
    your computer.

    Connecting to other equipment
    1Connect the computer and camera with the USB connection cable 
    (supplied/optional).
    2Press 3/4 to select [PC], and then press [MENU/SET].
    3Copy the images to a PC using “ PHOTOfunSTUDIO ”.
    •Do not delete or move copied files or folders in Windows Explorer. When viewing in 
    “ PHOTOfunSTUDIO ”, you will not be able to play back or edit.
    Note
    •“ PHOTOfunSTUDIO ” is not compatible with Mac.
    •Use a battery with sufficient battery power or the AC adaptor (optional). If the remaining battery 
    power becomes low while the camera and the PC are communicating, the status indicator blinks and 
    the alarm beeps.
    Refer to 
    “Disconnecting the USB connection cable safely”  (P142)  before disconnecting the USB 
    connection cable. Otherwise, data may be destroyed.
    •Before connecting or disconnecting the AC adaptor (optional), turn the camera off.
    •Before inserting or removing a card, turn the camera off and disconnect the USB connection cable. 
    Otherwise, data may be destroyed.
    •Please turn this unit on and your PC before connecting.
    •Check the directions of the connectors, and plug them straight in or unplug them straight 
    out. (Otherwise the connectors may bend out of shape, which may cause malfunction.)
    •Do not use any other USB connection cables except the supplied one or a genuine 
    Panasonic USB connection cable (DMW-USBC1: optional).
