Type new data where necessary and press ENTER after each entry.After the last entry, the message “Do you want to save changes? (Y/N)” is displayed. Database Search The Call Routing Pattern Index cannot be changed since it is the key to the record. A change in this number means either another existing record or a new record is being entered. After the Call Routing Pattern Index is entered, CFC searches the database for the corresponding record and, when it finds it, displays it.

If the last record value is blank then the record matching the first record value is displayed.All records lying within the indicated range are displayed for on-screen viewing. Figure 3-37 Call Routing Destinations Option Procedure Call Routing Destinations Information Each Destination record has a unique Destination Index which identifies the record, a list of extensions that are the actual destinations to which calls are rerouted., and a Start Time Index which corresponds to an actual time frame under the Time Parameters option on the Main Menu. If an incoming call arrives during the time frame indicated by the Start Time Index, the destination extensions will be searched for an available connection. If the time frame indicated by the Start Time Index does not correspond to the time of the incoming call, another Destination record is evaluated for possible use, and so on, until the appropriate time frame is located and its corresponding destination extensions are checked for a connection. Expanded Display Press the TA B key or the Ctrl-V key combination while in the Start Time Index field to display the Start Time record. Press ESC to return to the Call Routing Destinations screen. Non-Existent Data During data input to the Call Routing Destinations screen, if the entered time index does not exist in the time parameters database, the administrator is notified that the index does not exist. If the associated record is not added, the error will be caught in the validation process. (See Validate and Install option on Main Menu).
