Figure 4-8 Cluster Tables General Information Clustering the database tables speeds up database searches and data retrieval. However, it does require a large amount of time to complete. Attendant Stats locks the database while it is being clustered so that no one can interrupt by trying to access the database. It is best to perform this task during low traffic times. Page 76NDA-30058 Revision 2 ADMINISTRATION MENU Attendant Management System - Attendant Statistics Log File Display Overview The Log File Display option on the Attendant Statistics Administration Menu is used to access the log files for display and printing of log entries. Attendant Stats enters process and error messages to a menu log file and to a report generation log file. Figure 4-10 Log File Display Menu Options The Log File Display menu provides the following options that enable you to perform the actions listed: Menu Log Files–Access the files that contain process and error messages occurring during performance of menu functions. Report Generator Log Files–Access the files that contain process and error messages occurring during automatic report generation. These options make it possible to access these files for display and printing of log entries. Use the Enter key to toggle the AutoScroll command on and off when the cursor is positioned on the command. In AutoScroll mode, shown by the notation A–S in the bottom right corner of the screen, new messages are scrolled onto the screen as they occur and are added to the file. Procedure
