l Only one device can program system abbreviated dial numbers at a 
time. 
Programming The following steps are required: 
l In Form 3, enable COS Option I I I (Attendant Abbreviated Dial 
Programming) in the subattendant COS. 
l For the display of confidential abbreviated dial numbers, enable COS 
Option 1 IO (Attendant Abbreviated Dial Confidential Number Display). 
Operation To program an abbreviated dial number: 
Press the SUPERKEY. 
Press the MORE softkey.

l If there are no calls in the Calls Waiting queue, there is nothing in the 
CW area of the LCD display and either the Msg Waiting or Mic On flag 
may occur.

l This feature is available only to SUPERSET 430 telephones that have 
been programmed with enhanced subattendant functionality (see

l Subattendant LDNs and recall calls will override the subattendant DND 
settings and will ring the DND subattendant telephone on the LDN or 
RECALL key. 
l Station and SUPERSET telephones and consoles cannot directly dial 
an LDN.
