Note: If you are loading A4- or legal-size paper, squeeze the lever and pull to extend the tray. It is unnecessary
to extend the tray for paper sizes shorter in length than A4 or legal, such as letter-size paper. When you pull the
extension out, the first stop accommodates A4-size paper. When the extension is fully out, it accommodates
legal-size paper.

Note: The tray cannot be completely inserted so it is flush with the printer front if you extended the tray to
accommodate A4- or legal-size paper. Do not try to force the tray in further.
6Flip up the paper exit tray stop to catch the paper as it exits.
Note: If you loaded A4- or legal-size paper, pull the paper exit tray stop to extend it fully.

Loading labels in Tray 1
You can load up to 25 sheets of labels at a time.
1Load labels into the paper tray with the printable side facing down and the top of the sheet feeding into the
printer first.
2Make sure:
You load letter- or A4-size label sheets.
The print side of the labels faces down.
The top of the labels feeds into the printer first.
You use full label sheets. Partial sheets (with areas exposed by missing labels) may cause labels to peel off
during printing, resulting in a paper jam.

Loading banner paper in Tray 1
1Remove the paper tray.
2Remove any paper from the tray.
3Push the lever in, and then extend the tray until it is long enough to accommodate legal size paper.
4Replace the paper tray.
5Tear off only the number of banner pages needed for the banner.
6Set the stack of paper on a flat surface in front of the printer.
7Slide the first sheet of the banner over the handle and all the way into the back of the paper tray.
