Troubleshooting OPERATION GUIDE10-7 2Open the Scan Unit. 3Open the Front Cover. 4Lift the Developer Unit together with the Toner Container out of the printer. 5Using the green handles lift the Drum Unit out of the machine. NOTE: The Drum Unit is sensitive to light. Never expose the Drum Unit to light for more than five minutes. 6If the jammed paper appears to be pinched by rollers, pull it along the normal running direction of the paper. Troubleshooting 10-8OPERATION GUIDE If it has not be fed as far as the metal registration roller, remove the paper from the Manual Feed Tray side. 7Return the Drum Unit to its position, aligning the guides at both ends with the slots in the printer. 8Insert the Developer Unit together with the Toner Container, back into the machine. 9Close the Front Cover. 10Close the Scan Unit pushing the Lever. Specifications 11-4OPERATION GUIDE Optional Equipment Print Server (IB-110) The print server (IB-110) provides an optimal printing network for Kyocera printers and copiers so that all users on the network can take advantage of them. The included utility, Virtual Link enables you to utilize the MFP’s scanning function. The print servers USB interface offers easy external connections. Our original utility simplifies configuring your Ethernet network to offer printing to users. Using Print Server (IB-110) When the Print Server (IB-110) is connected, perform the following procedure. Connect and set up the machine, refer to the Print Servers Set up Guide. Loading Software 1Follow steps 1 to 8 of Loading Software on page 3-2. 2Select Custom Mode and click Next. 3Select Network connection and click Next. 4Select KMPrint Port and click Next. 5Select your printer and click Next. 6Click Select All and click Next. 7Enter the name of the printing system and click Next. 8Click Add Port. The KMprint Add Port Wizard window is displayed. 9Enter the IP address or host name and click Next. NOTE: Click Search to search available printers within the network, and select it. 10Enter the Destination Printer Port Name and click Next. 11Click Finish. 12Select the printer port and click Next. 13Click Install. The installation program installs the software. 14When the installation is complete, the Installation Completed window is displayed.
