6.14    Pasting of Spectra to Microsoft(R) Word   
 
In report preparation, spectra can be pasted as they are.   
Make the spectral data active (click the relevant spectrum) and 
then select the Copy command from the Edit menu.    Now open 
the Microsoft(R) Word and select the Paste command from the 
Edit menu.    The data can be pasted to a Microsoft(R) Word text.   
Peak tables and/or kinetics data can also be pasted in the same 
way.    By double-clicking the pasted spectrum shown in

For pasting a spectrum to the Microsoft(R) Excel, specify   
“Paste Special.”    The dialog box in Fig. 6-31 will appear.

6.15    Conversion of Data to ASCII Text File   
 
A file conversion function is provided for processing of data with 
other spreadsheet software.    Conversion can be made to the 
following three data files.   
•  JCAMP-DX file (*.dx)   
•  ASCII text file (*.txt)   
•  Graph meta file (*.wmf)   
 
NOTES:  1.  Date/time, analytical conditions and data list (raw 
data) will be converted into a JCAMP-DX file   
2.  The items selected at the Report tab of 
Properties will be converted into an ASCII...

6.16  Renaming Your Sample  
 
After measurement, the sample name of saved data can be 
changed.  
Proceed s follows.   
 
(1)  Open the data file for renaming.   
 
(2)  Select the Properties (O) command from the Edit (E) menu 
or click the     button.  
 
(3)  A window as in Fig. 6-34 will open.    Click the Info tab.

(4)  Input a new sample name for “Sample name” and click OK.  
 
NOTE:  This function is effective in the wavelength scan, time 
scan and 3-D Scan modes....

6.17    Printing of Wavelength and Photometric Values under Display   
 
This program provides a function for acquiring data such as 
presently displayed wavelength and photometric values, and 
traced value on the data processing window.    These data can 
be printed.   
Select the Data read (R) command from the Tools (T) menu.     
A window as in Fig. 6-35 will appear.

Select “Present data read” and the photometric value on the 
monitor window will be read on the window shown in Fig. 6-35.

Display the window for data readout as instructed above and 
move the mouse pointer onto date processing window.     
Right-click the mouse there, and a window as in Fig. 6-38 will

When you select “Trace value read,” a window as in Fig. 6-39

In reading data from the data processing window, sample name 
information is displayed.    Sample names can be edited.     
Click the sample name column, and input is allowed.   
The relevant data can be printed.    From the File (F) menu, 
select the Print (P) command or click the        (Print) button.   
Data can be deleted by the following method.    Click the data 
value and select Delete....

6.18    Reference to Spectrum Measured in Photometry Mode   
 
When the quantification method is peak area, peak height or 
derivative in the photometry mode, wavelength scan will be 
carried out and according to its result, a calibration curve will be 
prepared.    The spectrum measured in this case can be 
displayed and printed.   
Open the data file.    Right-click the numerical part of standard 
data or sample data and select “Spectrum reference.”    Or click

A spectrum appears as shown in Fig. 6-41.    Spectrum tracing 
and scale change are possible.    The spectrum can be printed 
by selecting the Print (P) command from the File (F) menu or
