4.Replace the exhaust silencers if they are
faulty.

check must be carried out on the condition of
the equipment, cutting unit, guards and fasten-
ing elements before switching it on, to ensure
that the parts are not worn, damaged or loose.

button work correctly.

and safe use of the edge trimmer, the assem-
bly instructions for protection and safety
components must be followed meticulously.
The manufacturer shall not be held liable if
the edge trimmer is used without the afore-
mentioned protection and safety devices.

front handgrip disassembled inside the packag-
ing.

In order to use the edge trimmer, clothes must
be worn that protect against objects thrown up
by the tool (e.g. stones). Wear safety shoes with
a slip-proof sole, gloves, safety goggles (the
visor used on its own does not protect the eyes
sufficiently), tight-fitting clothes. Do not wear
loose-fitting clothes, scarves, ties, jewellery or
other dangling objects that could get caught on
branches. Long hair must be tied up and pro-
