Power Up Sequence 
The system is initialized. During this time:
•  System diagnostics run. Its status is reflected on the monitor 
by the graphic in Figure 3-12.

•  Probes are initialized for immediate operation.
NOTE:  If no probe is connected, the system goes into standby mode.
•  Peripheral devices are activated on power up.

Password Protection
LoginPersonal IDs and associated passwords can be preset in the 
LOGIQ 7. 
If IDs and passwords have been entered and the Use Auto 
Logon is off, the Operator Login Window appears, requesting for 
an ID and password when Power up sequence is completed or 
when its needed.

Standby Mode
To place the system in standby mode:
1. Press the Power On/Standby switch at the front of the 
system once.
2.  The System-Exit window is displayed.
3. Using the Trackball or Tab key, select Shutdown.
The shutdown process takes a few seconds and is 
completed when the control panel illumination is turned off.

Circuit breaker 
The Circuit Breaker is located at the rear panel of the system. 
On supplies main power to all internal systems. Off removes 
main power from all internal systems. The circuit breaker 
automatically shuts off power to the system in case of a power 
overload.
If a power overload occurs:
1.  Turn off all peripheral devices.
2.  Reactivate the Circuit Breaker switch.

Adjusting the Display Monitor
Rotate, tilt, raise and lower the monitor
The monitor position can be adjusted for easy viewing.
