AUTO Adjust colors to match the light source.Select [WHITE BALANCE] in the shooting menu. 1. Press the selector up or down to highlight the desired option. White balance adjusted automatically. Measure a value for white balance. Choose a color temperature. For subjects in direct sunlight. For subjects in the shade. Use under “daylight” fluorescent lights. Press [MENU/OK]. The dialog shown below will be displayed; use the selector to fine-tune white balance and press [MENU/OK] to select, or press [DISP/BACK] to exit without fine-tuning.3. Color temperature is an objective measure of the color of a lig ht source, expressed in Kelvin (K). Light sources with a color tempe rature close to that of direct sunlight appear white; light sources with a lower color temperature h ave a yellow or red cast, while those with a higher color temperature are tinged with blu e. You can match color temperatu re to the light source as shown in the following table, or choose op tions that differ sharply from the color of the light source to make pictures “warmer” or “colder”. If [2.0×] is selected, intelligent digital zoom magnifies the image to 2× while processing it for sharp, high-resolution results. Intelligent digital zoom may end when another mode is selected. Intelligent digital zoom may some times produce lower quality images than optical zoom. Intelligent digital zoom is not a vailable in continuous mode or during movie recording. Select [ON] to enable advanced anti blur in mode. When is displayed, the camera will take a series of exposures and combine them to form a single im age, reducing “noise” (mottling) and blur.
