Scanning
You can scan documents using Image Capture. Macintosh OS offers Image Capture.
1Ensure that your machine and computer are turned on and properly connected to each 
other.
2Load the document(s) face up into the DADF.

Place a single document face down on the document glass.

Getting Started
The supplied Software and Documentation CD provides you with Dells MFP driver package for 
using your printer with a Linux computer.
Dells MFP driver package contains printer and scanner drivers, providing the ability to print 
documents and scan images. The package also delivers powerful applications for configuring 
your printer and further processing of the scanned documents.

2When the Administrator Login window appears, type in root in the Login field and enter
