You  can  also  scan  using  TWAIN-compliant softwares, such as Adobe Photoshop.
Scanning  using  network can  be performed via only  TWAIN UI.
Scanning with Twain-Enabled softwore
If  you want  to  scan  documents using  other software,  you will need  to  use TWAIN-compliant software,  such as Adobe
Photoshop.  Follow the steps below  to  scan  with TWAIN-compliant software:
1. Make sure  that  your  machine and  computer  are turned on and  properly  connected to  each  other.

To delete a Job Type setting
1. Select the setting  you want  to  delete from  the  Job  Type drop -down  list.
2. Click  Delete .

1. Make sure  that  the machine is connected to  your  computer  and  powered on.
2. Open Dell  Scan  and Fax Manager .
From the  Start menu,  click   Control  Panel  > Dell  Scan  and Fax Manager .
3. Select the appropriate machine from   Dell  Scan  and Fax Manager  and  click  Properties .
4. Move to  the  Set Fax Receiving  tab and  activate Enable  Fax Receiving .
