CHAPTER 2INSTALLATION MOUNTING CONSIDERATIONS The KSU cabinet should be attached vertically to any sturdy, flat, surface. It may be vertically rack mounted if desired. The KSU must be located within six (6) feet of a proper electricaloutlet. The KSU power supply requires a dedicated 117VAC 15 AMP circuit, with a third-wire ground, supplied to a standard (NEMA 5-l 5R) electrical outlet. SYSTEM GROUNDINGThe wmmon equipment cabinet has internal secondary surge protection on all line ports. In order for this protection to be effective, the cabinet MUST be connected to a reliable earth ground such as a metal wld water pipe or a building frame ground.
