Simulcrypt Scrambling 78-4025112-01 Rev H0 177 Simulcrypt Scrambling Simulcrypt scrambling is a scrambling method whereby a single transport stream contains ECMs from different CA Systems. Each CA system uniquely scrambles the same CW in the ECM so that elementary stream bandwidth is not increased. This enables different CA decoder populations to receive and correctly decode the same video and audio streams.
