Connect Devices
This section provides information and procedures  for connecting external devices to the projector.
Communication and input ports are located on the projector side input panel, accessed by removing 
the input panel cover. When connecting devices, you can route cables through the opening in the

Connect a video source using DisplayPort
The Twin DisplayPort input card (TDPIC) accepts di gital video data from the DisplayPort sources.

1. On the TPC, select  Input > Channel.
2. Scroll the list of channels until you find the channel that best matches your configuration.
3. Tap the channel. An image appears on the screen. If an image does  not appear on the screen, repeat steps 1 to 
3, selecting a different channel.

Set up Ethernet
Ethernet is setup to obtain an IP address automa tically if a DHCP server is on the network. To 
modify IP settings, or manually enter an address.
1. On the touch panel controller, tap  Menu > Configuration  > Ethernet Settings  > Modify 
IP Settings .

Adjust the Image
This section provides information and proc edures for adjusting the projector image.
Select screen image orientation
The projector supports front projection, rear pr ojection, front projection inverted, and rear 
projection inverted.
1. On the touch panel controller, tap  Menu > Configuration  > Screen Image Orientation .

Adjust offset
Always adjust offset before adjusting boresight.
1. Project an image with the primary lens. 2. Select a framing test pattern.
3. Adjust the vertical (A) and horizontal (B) offsets to display a square image on the screen, with  minimal projector aiming error.
 
Adjust horizontal boresight
The purpose of boresight adjustment is to balance the tile of the lens mount to compensate for 
screen-to-projector tilt.

1. Loosen the lens mount stabilization screw (D).
2. Loosen the horizontal lock screw (A).
3. Extend the lens focus (B) completely.
4. Adjust the  Focus using the focus knob to retract the lens. Watch the image at the left edge of 
the screen until it comes into focus. If the entire screen is in focus, proceed to step 7.
