Theprinterstartscleaningtheprinthead.
Thecleaningwillbecompletewhenthe ONlamplightsafterflashing.
Donotperformanyotheroperationsuntiltheprintercompletesthecleaningoftheprinthead.Thistakes
about30seconds.

Checktheprintheadcondition.

printthenozzlecheckpattern .

printthenozzlecheckpattern .
Iftheproblemisnotresolved,turnoffthepowerandcleantheprintheaddeeplyagainafter24hours.
Iftheproblemisstillnotresolved,
replacetheFINEcartridge withanewone.
IftheproblemisstillnotresolvedafterreplacingtheFINEcartridge,contactyournearestCanonservice centertorequestarepair.

Makesurethatthepaperfeedrollershavestoppedrotating,loadasheetofA4orLetter-sizedplainpaperorcleaningsheetavailableonthemarketinthereartray.
2.
Pulloutthepaperoutputtrayandtheoutputtrayextension.
3.
Holddownthe Stopbuttonuntilthe Alarmlampflashesseventimes,thenreleaseit
immediately.
Theprinterstartscleaning.Thecleaningwillbecompletewhenthepaperisejected.
Iftheproblemisnotresolvedaftercleaningthepaperfeedrollersinthereartray,turnoffthepower,unplug thepowercord,thenwipethepaperfeedrollers(thecenterrollerandtherightroller)(A)locatedinsidethe
reartraywithamoistenedcottonswaborthelikewhilerotatingthemmanually.Donottouchtherollerswith
yourfingers.Rotatetherollerstwoormoretimes.
Aftercleaningthepaperfeedrollers,turnonthepower,thencleanthepaperfeedrollersagain.
Iftheproblemisnotresolvedaftercleaningthepaperfeedrollers,contactyournearestCanonservice
centertorequestarepair.

again.
