3.2 SB40, SB44, SB52
The clearing saw is supplied in a box together with the 
following parts:
Saw blade.
Trimmer head.
Grass cutting blade.
Transport guard for blade.
Blade guard with screws and washers.
Trimmer guard with screws and washers.
Instruction manual.
Tool set. See Fig. 2.

5.4 TRIMMER HEAD, SEE FIG. 6
Fit the following parts on the angular gears shaft:
1. Spacer.
2. Protective washer.
3. Trimmer head. 
Insert the accompanying screwdriver in the hole in the 
angular gears housing. Rotate the shaft so that the 
screwdriver can be pressed in and lock the spindle. 
See Fig. 7.
Tighten the trimmer head by hand.
Note! Left-hand thread.

7. Hang up the clearing saw in the harness. Use a suitable 
hole in the clearing saw for best balance. See Fig. 13.
8. SB40, SB44, SB52:
 Unscrew the thumb screw (15) 
slightly and adjust the handlebars (14) for optimal 
comfort, and then tighten the thumb screw. See Fig. 4.
6.2.3 Starting a warm engine
A warm engine is started according to items 3-5 in the above 
description.
6.2.4 Adjusting the idling speed
The clearing saw should run smoothly at idling speed with 
the blade/trimmer head...

7 STORAGE
The clearing saw should be stored in a dry place. Refer also 
to section 2.4.  When the clearing saw is to be stored for 
periods longer than 4 months, carry out the following 
procedures:
1. After draining out the petrol, start the engine and allow it 
to run until all the remaining petrol is used up.
WARNING! The stop control should always be in 
the stop position when the engine is turned round 
with the spark plug lead or spark plug removed.

Porter des vêtements et des équipements de protection 
adéquats : bottes, pantalon robuste, gants, lunettes de 
protection, protection doreilles et casque. Porter des 
vêtements confortables mais pas trop lâches.
Une utilisation prolongée de la machine peut provoquer 
lengourdissement de mains (les doigts sont blancs = le 
syndrome de Raynaud).
La présence de personnes non autorisée dans un rayon de 
15 mètres est interdite lors de lutilisation de la machine.

Monter les pièces suivantes sur larbre de lengrenage 
angulaire :
1. Entretoise
2. Rondelle de protection
3. La tête de coupe
Introduire le tournevis fourni dans lemballage dans le trou 
du boîtier de lengrenage angulaire. Tourner larbre pour 
permettre denfoncer le tournevis et verrouiller la broche.

Note : Ne pas tirer le cordon trop fort vers sa position de 
butée et ne pas le relâcher en position tirée. Cela endommage 
le démarreur.
6.  Pousser la commande daccélérateur, (11) à la fig. 3, une 
fois le moteur démarré, pour remettre le starter.
7.  Suspendre la machine dans le harnais. Choisir un trou 
dattache approprié pour avoir un équilibre maximum.
