For some apps, when you install the app, you are prompted to accept or decline all of the requested permissions. If you decline, the prompt will appear again the first time you open the app. You canht change the application permissions later unless you delete and reinstall the app. Changeorviewapppermissions For some apps, if you turn off permissions, the app might not work as you expect. BlackBerry Guardian is constantly evolving to help identify the most advanced forms of malicious software and privacy concerns. If malicious software is discovered in an app or game after iths available, the app or game is removed from BlackBerry World. UsingParentalControls Parental Controls are designed to give you more control over how a BlackBerry device can be used and contacted. You can turn off access to certain apps, features, and content. Parental Controls settings are protected with a password, making them difficult to change or turn off without your knowledge. You can set your device so that the Parental Controls password is required to add an email or social networking account, or to purchase an app from the BlackBerry World storefront. 10.Follow the instructions on the screen. PasswordKeeper You can use the Password Keeper app to store all your passwords, usernames, and security questions in one place. If you want a password that is difficult to guess, you can also use Password Keeper to generate random passwords that contain numbers, letters, and symbols. Password Keeper is designed to encrypt your passwords to protect them. When you enter your password for the Password Keeper app, the passwords that you store in the app are decrypted so you can see them. Transferpasswordrecords To transfer password records, you must first back up the password data as part of the backup file during the device switch process, or export the password records to a backup file. If you saved the backup file to a media card, insert the media card into your new BlackBerry device. If you didnht save the backup file to a media card, you can use BlackBerry Link to transfer the records. 1.In the Password Keeper app, swipe down from the top of the screen. 2.Tap > ImportPasswords. 3.Complete the instructions on the screen. Storepasswordrecordsinthecloud If you store password records in the cloud, you donht need to transfer records when you switch BlackBerry devices. When you sign in to your new device using your BlackBerry ID and the same Password Keeper password that you used on your old device, the records appear in the Password Keeper app. 1.In the Password Keeper app, swipe down from the top of the screen. 2.Tap . 3.Turn on the CloudSynchronization switch.
