Chapter 1 Installing Amanda Clients Installing Amanda Messenger and Amanda Dialer The Amanda Messenger and Amanda Dialer applications must be installed on each user’s workstation. They can be installed from a network drive if your Amanda system administrator or your network administrator copies the files on the User Clients disk to a network location.
