2. Hand wash thermal carafe and lid in warm sudsy
water; rinse thoroughly.
3. Pour cold water into water
reservoir up to the 8-cup level
mark on the water window.
Do not over fill (A).
4. Be sure brew chamber is
locked in position.
5. Brew 8 cups of water through the system using a
paper filter, but do not add coffee grounds to filter.

Care and Cleaning
This product is for household use only.
Before First Use
1. Remove all stickers, packing materials and literature.
2. Wash Thermal Carafe, Brew-Thru Lid, Permanent Filter and
Brew Basket in warm sudsy water; rinse thoroughly.
3. Pour cold water into Water Reservoir up to the 6-cup level
mark.
4. Brew water through as instructed in To Brew a Pot of
Coffee (Do not use coffee grounds or the Permanent Filter.)
