5.4 Transparencies • To avoid damaging the printer, use only transparencies designed for use in laser printers. • Transparencies used in the printer must be able to withstand the machine’s fusing temperature. 5.5 Using tray 1 or the optional tray 2 Use the print material you use for the majo rity of your print jobs in tray 1. Tray 1 can hold a maximum of 250 sheets of 75 g/m2 paper. 5.7 Output tray information The output tray collects paper face down, in the order in which the sheets were printed. Notes • If you continuously print many pa ges, the surface of the output tray may become hot. Be careful not to touch the surface, and especially keep children away from the surface. • The output tray can hold up to 150 sheets of 75 g/m 2 (20 lb) plain paper.
