    CO Line Card Functions
    The system can be equipped with either a CKIB or CSIB line interface card.
    Each card type contains three (3) Loop Start CO lines.

    Remote Maintenance
    General Overview
    TheRemoteMaintenancefeatureallowsauthorizedpersonneltosurvey
    sys te m, slot c on figur at i on i nfor mat ion and prog ram ming . T his c an be
    done through the op tional mod em or data te rminal conne cte d v ia th e
    RS-232C port on the option al MIS U Module. The comm ands are entered
    fr om a key boar d a nd ar e li mi te d t o t hos e l is te d.
    Overview of Maintenance Commands
    There are four basic commands available in the Remote Maintenance
    feature. All commands begin with a single character, followed by a space,
    another cha ra cte r and a n optional digit or d igits . All command s are
    terminated with the  key.
    Maintenance Password
    The Main te nance fea tur e, li ke Pr ogr ammi ng, i s e nte re d vi a a six -char act er
    al phanum er ic s tr i ng. T he pas swor d p romp t is gi ven by pre ss ing 
    at the device connected to the RS232 port. After the prompt displays,
    ent er t he pa sswo r d, the n p re ss . P ro pe r ent r y o f the p ass wo rd
    displays the ma intena nce p romp t. The Mainte nance pa ssword is: CON FIG

    Exit Maintenance

    DT M F R ece iver Tra ce
    The CONFIG utility allows technicians to take specific DTMF receivers
    in/out of serv ice. T his is us eful fo r troublesh ooting D TMF receiver
    pr oble ms to is ola te a spe c if ic D TM F re c ei ve r t hat m ay b e f aul ty.
    1. Conne ct a PC with co mmunica tion s oftware to the I/O port 1 on the
    MISU.
    2. At the ENTER PASSWORD> prompt, typeCO N F IGand pre ss [EN TE R] .

    The display shows the receiver number, cabinet location, card slot
    location, receiver status, and state of the receiver.
