ator and ringing devices(s) to the LBC contacts 
(Refer to Figure 500-12).

500.14 KEY TELEPHONE INSTALLATION 
A maximum of 96 Key Telephones may be installed 
with the Starplus 96EX Hybrid Key Telephone Sys- 
tem (48 with the Basic KSU and 48 with the Expan- 
sion KSU). The Key Telephones are interfaced with 
KIB boards which each have eight circuits per board.

Each SLT requires one-pair cab!e. The cable shou!d 
be placed from the telephone location to the MDF in 
a “home run” manner. The telephone end of the 
cable run should be terminated in a modular jack 
(Refer to Figure 500-13). The MDF end should be 
“punched down” on a terminal block for cross con- 
nection to the appropriate station cable (Refer to 
Table 500-7).
