PERCEPTION is a stored program- 
controlled system utilizing an &bit microprocessor 
as the central processing unit (CPU). The system 
memory is made up of both Read Only Memory 
(ROM) and Dynamic Random Access Memory 
(DRAM) (the small amount of ROM that is provided 
contains the “Loader” program for the Floppy 
Disk Drive (DFDD)). When the system is first 
powered up or is reset manually, the remainder of 
the Operating System programs and Customer 
Data are loaded into DRAM from...
