36 Speakerphone set and Display Speakerphone set DOOR UNIT Your system may have a door unit equipped with an inter- com and electric door latch. When a visitor presses the doorbell, up to four system extensions rin g. WHEN THE DOOR BELL RINGS If your telephone is rin ging: • Press [SPKR] or lift the handset. If another extension is rin ging: • Dial the PAGE zone access code associated with the door unit, or Press the flashin g [DOOR] button, if defined. You can now speak with the person at the door. TO OPEN THE ELECTRIC DOOR LATCH While connected to the door unit: • Press [*] . The door latch opens.

Dial an available speed dial bin number or press an available SPEED DIAL button. 4. Enter up to 16 di gits. 5. Press [SPD/PROG] . To dial the number saved, do a re gular Speed Dial usin g the Speed Dial bin number or button you used to save the number (see ABBREVIATED DIALING).

The default feature codes (see next pa ge) reflect the fea- ture initials, usin g the letters on the dialpad buttons. For example: To access Barge In •Press [FEAT] followed by the dialpad buttons corre- spondin g to the letters BI (Barge In). That is, The feature codes in your system may have been chan ged.
