Here at last is a home-theater projector you really can
take anywhere in the house. You can set it up in the
living room for a family home theater experience, or
take it up to your room for mega-size video games -
big-screen entertainment has never been more mobile.

Multiple terminals Digital RGB Matrix IC
Linear control of fan rotation greatly reduces noise, so
even quiet scenes and whispered dialog are not
    spoiled by fan noise.
If the projector is a long way
    above or below the projection
screen, you can still enjoy a
correct, rectangular image thanks to Digital Keystone
Correction. Just press the button to adjust the picture
    (max. 15-degree differential).
    Other features
    • 1.2x manual zoom and focus for setup versatility
    • 4:3 regular screen, 16:9 wide aspect selection
    (not possible with 1080i, 1035i, 720p input)
    • Freeze frame
    • Simple adjustment legs
    • 1W built-in monaural speaker
    • Ceiling mount or rear projection possible
The PLV-30 offers component as well as conventional
inputs options to suit all video sources. The newly
developed Digital RGB Matrix IC input is directly com-
patible with DVD (Y/Cb/Cr) and high-definition TV
    (Y/Pb/Pr) output signals.
Home theater is about more than just movies.
The PLV-30 is a genuine multimedia projector, plug-
and-play compatible with DVD players, VCRs, personal
    computers and other equipment.
*This projector has one video input and one
RGB input. If you plan to connect several
appliances at one time (as shown here), you
will need an AV amplifier or AV selector (sold
    separately).
    Brightness alone is not enough
for projectors - in fact some give
you a bright but washed-out pic-
ture. For realism, you also need
    contrast. SANYO’s high-contrast optical system
achieves an on-screen contrast ratio of 400 to 1. Put
simply, that means the picture is dark where it should
be dark and light where it should be light. This projec-
tor can really capture the atmosphere of spectacular
scenery or a dark and moody movie scene. If you
want to, you can also make fine manual adjustments
with the Gamma Correction User Control.
