8.2 3With a dry lint-free cloth, wipe away any dust and spilled toner from the toner cartridges area and their cavities. Note If toner gets on your clothing, wipe it off with a dry cloth and wash it in cold water. 8.3 Cleaning the scan unit Keeping the scan unit clean helps ensure the best possible copies. 8.4 Redistributing toner When small amount of toner is left in the cartridge, the toner LED( ) blinks slowly. It may cause faded or light areas on a paper. You can temporarily improve print quality by redistributing the toner. For detailed information about error message, see page 9.7.
