Adjusting the Volume Press the VOL+ or VOL– button to increase or decrease the volume. Using the MUTE Button At any time, you can temporarily cut off the sound. English - 65 Choosing a Multi-Channel Sound (MTS) track The digital-TV transmission system is capable of simultaneous transmission of many audio tracks (for example, simultaneous translations of the program into foreign languages). The availability of these additional “multitracks” depends upon the program. 1 Press the MENU button. NOTE •You can only select the language from among the actual languages broadcast by the broadcasting station. That is, if the current program is broadcast with a configured language (e.g. French), you will listen to the program in the configured Preferred Language.
