22 _Introduction UNDERSTANDING THE STATUS LED The color of the Status LED indicates the mach ines current status. ACKNOWLEDGING THE STATUS OF THE TONER CARTRIDGE The status of toner cartridges is indicated by the Status LED and the LCD display. If the toner cartridge is low or needs to be replaced, the Status LED turns red and the display shows t he message. The software includes drivers, applications, and other user friendly programs. 1.Connect the network cable to your machine. 2. Make sure that the network setup for your machine is completed. Getting started_29 Setting the date and time The current date and time are shown on the display when your machine is on and ready to work.
