Turning on the Power
1. Turn on your source components. 
2. Turn on the main power switch at the rear of the projector. The POWER LED lights 
orange. The LAMP and TEMP LEDs light red briefly, then go out. 
3. Press the ON button on the remote control to turn on the CL-810. The POWER LED 
flashes orange to indicate that it is warming up. 
4. When the projector is ready for use, the POWER LED lights green.

Lens Adjustments
The CL-810 gives you a great deal of control over the picture 
size, position and focus. To access the motorized lens 
controls, use the FOCUS, ZOOM and LENS buttons on the 
remote control. 
FocusTo focus the projected image, press the FOCUS button, then use the left- and right-arrow 
buttons to adjust the focus.

When you turn on the CL-810, it switches to the 
last selected input and looks for a valid signal.

Although it may be possible to obtain satisfactory picture quality using the naked eye and 
regular program material, Runco recommends using the following calibration tools for best 
results: 
 External test pattern source -- Sencore VP401 Multimedia Video Generator, Ovation 
Multimedia test DVD or equivalent.

Contrast: On your external test pattern source, select a stepped, gray-bar pattern like the 
one shown in 
Figure 4-3.

blue) color bars appear to be a single shade of blue:

Sharpness: “Sharpness” is the amount of high-frequency detail in the image. To adjust 
sharpness, select Sharpness from the Adjustment menu and press ENTER. On your 
external test pattern source, select a pattern like the one shown in

needed, looking for white edges around the transitions from black to gray and

Color Temperature: The CL-810 has six memory settings for Color Temperature. Four 
of these settings are factory set to default as follows: 
 0 -- Original lamp color temperature 
 1 -- 5400 kelvins 
 2 -- 6500 kelvins
