    • This may occur when trying to display images directly
    from the cameras with the same address when
    Multicast is selected for Transmission type on the
    setup menu of the camera.
    Set different multicast addresses for each camera.
    – – • This may occur due to the display adapter and driver
    combination.
    When this occurred, update the driver of the display
    adapter to the latest version first.
    If updating the driver does not solve the problem, adjust
    the hardware acceleration as follows.
    The following instructions are for Microsoft
    ®Windows®
    XP Professional SP2.
    (1) After closing the software, right-click on the desktop
    and select Properties from the displayed pop-up
    menu.
    (2) Select Settings from Display Properties, and then
    click the [Advanced] button.
    (3) Click the [Troubleshoot] tab and disable the
    DirectDraw acceleration by adjusting the level of
    Hardware acceleration.
    * When DirectDraw acceleration is disabled, images
    from the HD300 may sometimes not be displayed cor-
    rectly.

    • The value set for Max bit rate (per 1 client) on the setup
    menu of the camera that transmits MPEG-4 images may
    not be appropriate for the CPU performance of the PC in
    use.
    Check the recommended settings of the camera when
    operating MPEG-4 images.
    • It may be possible that load of the connected device is
    heavy.
    In this case, it may sometimes be improved by reducing
    load of the connected device.

    • When this software is running, the PC may sometimes
    not go into the sleep mode.
    Even the PC went into the sleep mode, the following
    may occur after returning from the sleep mode.
    • Live images are not refreshed
    • Cameras for the sequence display are not switched
    When using this software, configure the PC not to go into
    the sleep mode.

    The PC does not go into the
    sleep mode (system stand-
    by or system suspension).
    Images are not displayed

    • The value set for Maximum refresh interval (JPEG/
    VGA) on the [Performance] tab of the System page

    When starting the setup software
    When a message window is displayed in the process of the startup, refer to the following to solve the problem.
    •The setup software cannot be started when the operation software is
    open.
    Click the [OK] button, and then start the setup software after closing the
    operation software.
    •The hardware key is not inserted into the USB port of the PC.
    Start the setup software after inserting the hardware key into the USB
    port.
    SolutionMessage
    It is impossible to start the
    setup software unless the

    When starting the operation software
    When a message window is displayed in the process of the startup, refer to the following to solve the problem.

    not be saved nor applied when the [Cancel] button is clicked.
    •This message will be displayed when the setting of Address, HTTP
    port number or Use a proxy server is edited.
    Click the [Start...] button to download the recorder information.
