51 Note: The [Add…] button will become unavailable when reached the maximum number of the sequence registration (10 sequences). The following are descriptions about each item dis- played on the Sequence regist. window. Sequence title Enter the sequence title. When editing the title, enter up to 16 characters. The following characters are unavailable for the sequence title. ! $ % ’< = > @ [ ] ^ _ ` { | } ~ The sequence title already in use cannot be entered. Registered group The groups that can be registered in the sequence will be displayed in list form. Number of area Select the number of the cameras of the group to dis- play the groups in the list below. 1-screen:The group whose screen pattern is 1- screen. 4-screen:The group whose screen pattern is 4- screen. 6-screen:The group whose screen pattern is 6- screen. 9-screen:The group whose screen pattern is 9- screen. 16-screen:The group whose screen pattern is 16- screen. Default:1-screen Number of group Number of the groups registered in the sequence will be displayed in list form. [Add step] button A group selected from Registered group can be added to Step. Notes: •The group already registered in the sequence can be registered to the same sequence again as a dif- ferent step. •The [Add step] button will become unavailable when reached the maximum number of the step addition (64 steps). Step Each step of the registered sequence will be dis- played. [Delete step] button The selected group can be deleted from the sequence. [Up] button The selected group will move one step up. [Down] button The selected group will move one step down. [Set] button The edited setting will be saved and applied. Step 4 Click the [Set] button after editing the information. →The Sequence regist. window will close and the settings will be saved and applied. The sequence will be displayed in the list of the registered sequence. 52 Edit the sequence Step 1 Display the Sequence page. (page 50) Step 2 Select the sequence whose information is to be edited, and then click the [Edit…] button. →The Sequence regist. window will be displayed. Step 3 Click the [Set] button after editing the information. Refer to the Register a sequence section (page 50) for further information. →The Sequence regist. window will close and the settings will be saved and applied. Note: When a message window is displayed by clicking the [Set] button, refer to the Displayed messages and solutions section on page 73 and follow the instructions. Delete the sequence Step 1 Display the Sequence page. (page 50) Step 2 Select the sequence to be deleted. Step 3 Click the [Delete…] button. →The confirmation window will be displayed. Step 4 Click the [OK] button. →The selected sequence will be deleted. Notes: •When the sequence set as the default screen is deleted, -- will be displayed for the setting of Default screen on the Live window page. In this case, a black screen will be displayed in the image display area of the operation window just after login. •When a message window is displayed by clicking the [Delete…] button, refer to the Displayed mes- sages and solutions section on page 73 and follow the instructions.
53 Settings relating to the window The settings relating to the live window can be configured. Use the live window [Live window] Click the [Window] button to display the Live window page. Default screen Select Group or Sequence to determine how to dis- play live images when starting the operation software. Group:The group display will start to display live images just after login. Sequence:The sequence display will start to display live images just after login. Default:Group It is possible to select the group registered on the Group regist. window. When no group is registered, only -- will be displayed in the drop-down list. In this case, a black screen will be displayed in the image display area of the operation window. Refer to the Register a group [Group] section (page 46) for how to register groups. Default:-- It is possible to select the sequence registered on the Sequence regist. window. When no sequence is reg- istered, only -- will be displayed in the drop-down list. In this case, a black screen will be displayed in the image display area of the operation window. Refer to the Register a sequence [Sequence] section (page 50) for how to register sequences. Default:--Sequence dwell time Select a sequence dwell time from the following. This setting can be set only when Sequence is selected for Default screen. 3s/5s/10s/15s/20s Default:3s [Set] button The edited setting will be saved and applied.
54 Settings relating to the communication Configure the settings relating to the communication required to use this software. Network settings [Basic setup] Click the [Comm] button to display the Basic setup page. Configure the settings of Proxy address and Proxy port number. Proxy address Enter the IP address of the proxy server. Enter up to 255 alphanumeric characters. Proxy port number Enter the port number of the proxy server. Enter a number from 1 to 65535. [Set] button The edited settings will be saved and applied. Notes: •The network settings will not be validated if no value is entered for Proxy address and Proxy port number even when ON is selected for Use a proxy server. •When using the proxy server, use an HTTP proxy server.
55 Settings relating to maintenance The following can be performed on the Maintenance page. •Display the version of this software •Save/load/initialize the setup file of the setup software Display the version of this software [Version information] Click the [Maintenance] button, and then click the [Version information] tab to display the Version information page. Software version Version of this software will be displayed.
56 Save/load/initialize the setup data [Save/Load] The setup data can be saved/loaded/initialized. Save the setup data as a backup Important: Back up the setup data periodically by copying it onto an external hard disk drive or other storage medium. When the hard disk drive on the PC in use is damaged, it may be impossible to recover the setup data. Step 1 Click the [Maintenance] button. Step 2 Click the [Save/Load] tab. →The Save/Load page will be displayed.The following are descriptions about each item dis- played on the Save/Load page. [Save…] button The Save As window will be displayed. [Load…] button The Open window will be displayed. [Execute…] button The initialization start confirmation window will be dis- played. Step 3 Click the [Save...] button. →The Save As window will be displayed. Step 4 Click the [Save] button after designating the destina- tion folder and the file name. →Saving of the setup data will start.

Load the setup file Important: •When loading of the setup file starts, all the setup data of this software will be overwritten. •When loading of the setup file is completed, the setup software will restart. Step 1 Display the Save/Load page. (page 56) Step 2 Click the [Load...] button. →The Open window will be displayed. Step 3 Select the setup file to be loaded, and then click the [Open] button. →The loading start confirmation window will be dis- played. Step 4 Click the [OK] button on the confirmation window. →Loading of the setup file will start. Step 5 When the loading completion window is displayed, click the [OK] button. →The setup software will be restarted and the login window will be displayed.
58 Initialize the setup file Important: •When initialization of the setup file starts, all the setup data of this software will be initialized. It is recommended to back up the setup file before initializing the setup file. •When initialization of the setup file is completed, the setup software will restart. Step 1 Display the Save/Load page. (page 56) Step 2 Click the [Execute…] button. →The initialization start confirmation window will be displayed. Step 3 Click the [OK] button. →Initialization of the setup file will start. Step 4 When the initialization is completed, the confirmation window will be displayed. Click the [OK] button on the confirmation window. →The setup software will be restarted and the login window will be displayed.
Settings relating to the external interface 59 When controlling functions of this software using an external interface, it is necessary to configure the settings relat- ing to the external interface such as, ON/OFF for use of the external interface, the group number setting and the sequence number setting. External interface settings [Basic setup] Click the [External I/F] button, and then click the [Basic setup] tab to display the Basic setup page. External I/F Select ON or OFF to determine whether or not to use an external interface. ON:Use an external interface OFF:Not use an external interface Default:ON Port number Enter a number from 1 to 65535 for the port number. Default:10101 [Set] button The edited settings will be saved and applied.

[Auto numbering] button Group numbers will automatically be assigned in order of the displayed list.[File export] button The displayed list will be saved as a file in CSV format. Step 3 Click the desired group title, and then click the group number column respective to the clicked group title. →The clicked column will become editable.
