    Step 9
    Click the [OK] button after completing the settings.
    →The Camera setup window will close.
    Notes:
    •The edited settings will not be saved and applied
    even when the Camera setup window is closed
    by clicking the [OK] button.
    To save and apply the settings, click the [Set] but-
    ton on the Device registration window after clos-
    ing the Camera setup window.
    •When a message window is displayed by clicking
    the [OK] button, refer to the Displayed messages
    and solutions section on page 73 and follow the
    instructions.
    Step 10
    Click the [Set] button on the Device registration win-
    dow.
    →The Device registration window will close and the
    settings will be saved and applied.
    The registered camera will be displayed in the list
    of the registered devices. 
    Note:
    When a message window is displayed by clicking
    the [Set] button, refer to the Displayed messages
    and solutions section on page 73 and follow the

    Display the Registered device window of the camera.

    Step 2
    Select the camera whose information is to be edited,
    and then click the [Edit…] button.
    →The Device registration window will be displayed.
    Step 3
    Click the [Set] button after editing the information.
    Refer to the Register a camera [Basic setup] section
    (page 37) for further information.
    →The Device registration window will close and the
    settings will be saved and applied.
    Note:
    When a message window is displayed by clicking
    the [Set] button, refer to the Displayed messages
    and solutions section on page 73 and follow the
    instructions.

    Display the Registered device window of the camera.

    Select the camera to be deleted.
    Step 3
    Click the [Delete…] button.
    →The confirmation window will be displayed.
    Step 4
    Click the [OK] button.
    →The device information will be deleted.
    Note:
    When a message window is displayed by clicking
    the [Delete…] button, refer to the Displayed mes-
    sages and solutions section on page 73 and follow
    the instructions.

    Settings relating to the user management
    Settings relating to the administrator [Administrator setup]
    Click the [User mng.] button, and then click the [Administrator setup] tab to display the Administrator setup page.
    Configure the settings relating to the administrator on this page.
    Administrator name
    Enter 4 - 14 alphanumeric characters for the adminis-
    trator name.
    Default:ADMIN
    Password
    Enter 4 - 8 alphanumeric characters for the password.
    Default:12345
    Important:
    To enhance the security, change the administrator
    password periodically.
    Level
    The user level will be displayed. The user level of the
    administrator is Administrator and it is impossible to
    change.
    Login user(To device)
    The user name used to log in to the device will be dis-
    played. The displayed user name is of user’s who is
    set as User0 on the Device login user page 
    (page 45).
    It is impossible to change the device login name of the
    administrator on this page.
    Default:ADMINRestrict operable camera
    All cameras are available. will be displayed.
    It is impossible to change the operable cameras for the
    administrator.
    [Set] button
    The edited settings will be saved and applied.
    Note:
    When a message window is displayed by clicking
    the [Set] button, refer to the Displayed messages
    and solutions section on page 73 and follow the
    instructions.

    Register users who can log in to the device [Device login user]
    Click the [User mng.] button, and then click the [Device login user] tab to display the Device login user page.
    Enter the user name and the password to be used to log in to the device.
    When logging in to the device using the operation software, the user name and password determined on this page
    will be required. 
    User name
    Enter the user name used to log in to the device.
    Enter 4 - 14 alphanumeric characters for the user
    name.
    Default:ADMIN (User0)
    Password
    Enter the password.
    The entered password will be displayed as *.
    Enter 4 - 8 alphanumeric characters for the password.
    Default:12345 (User0)
    Important:
    •Enter the user name and the password registered
    in the device.
    When unregistered user name and password are
    entered, operation may not be performed correctly.
    •The settings configured for User0 will not be
    applied to this software by clicking the [Set] button.
    To apply the settings for User0, restart the soft-
    ware.
    Notes:
    •User0 is exclusive for the administrator.
    It is impossible to delete User0.
    •When logging in to the HD300 as User0, log in
    with the user name ADMIN, not with the set user
    name.
    Use the password set for User0.
    [Set] button
    The edited settings will be saved and applied.
    Note:
    When a message window is displayed by clicking
    the [Set] button, refer to the Displayed messages
    and solutions section on page 73 and follow the

    Settings relating to the cameras
    Contains settings relating to the camera group and the sequence display function.
    Register a group [Group]
    A combination of the screen pattern and the cameras can be registered as a group.
    Up to 16 cameras can be registered as a group.
    Up to 400 groups can be registered.
    Register a group
    Step 1
    Click the [Camera] button.
    Step 2
    Click the [Group] tab.
    →The Group page will be displayed.The following are descriptions about each item dis-
    played on the Group page.
    Registered group
    The registered groups will be displayed in list form.
    [Add…] button
    The Group regist. window will be displayed.
    [Edit…] button
    The Group regist. window of the group selected from
    the list will be displayed.
    [Delete…] button
    The group selected from the list will be deleted.
    Number of group
    Number of the registered groups will be displayed.Step 3
    Click the [Add…] button.
    →The Group regist. window will be displayed.

    Note:
    The [Add…] button will become unavailable when
    reached the maximum number of the group regis-
    tration (400 groups).
    The following are descriptions about each item dis-
    played on the Group regist. window.
    Group title
    Enter the group title.
    When editing the title, enter up to 16 characters.
    The following characters are unavailable for the group
    title.
    ! $ % ’< = > @ [  ] ^ _ ` { | } ~
    The group title already in use cannot be entered.
    Camera
    The registered devices will be displayed in the tree
    view.
    Number of camera
    Select the screen pattern to determine the number of
    cameras.
    The icons indicate the screen pattern used for the
    group display as follows.
    Icon Description
    Displays the group on a 1-screen.
    Displays the group on a 4-screen.
    Displays the group on a 6-screen.
    Displays the group on a 9-screen.
    Displays the group on a 16-screen.
    Default:4-screen
    Group layout
    Images from the cameras registered as a group will be
    displayed on the selected screen pattern. Drag and
    drop the recorder icon, the encoder icon or the camera
    icon displayed in the tree view onto the desired area.
    When the cameras are registered, the device title and
    the camera title will be displayed in the areas.
    Notes:
    •When the recorder icon or the encoder icon is
    dragged and dropped, the camera channels of the
    recorder or the encoder will be assigned automati-
    cally from camera channel 1 in order.•When the characters of the device title and the
    camera title are not fully displayed, the tool tip help
    will automatically be displayed and show the title
    fully.

    •When displaying images from a camera that is not
    registered in the recorder, -- will be displayed as
    a device title in the group layout area.
    [Clear] button
    The settings of Group layout will be cleared.
    [Set] button
    The edited settings will be saved and applied.
    Step 4
    Click the [Set] button after editing the information.
    →The Group regist. window will close and the set-
    tings will be saved and applied.
    The group will be displayed in the list of the regis-
    tered group.
    Important:
    The camera already registered in the group cannot
    added to the same group.
    Note:
    When a message window is displayed by clicking
    the [Set] button, refer to the Displayed messages
    and solutions section on page 73 and follow the
    instructions.

    Edit the group information
    Step 1
    Display the Group page. (page 46)
    Step 2
    Select the group whose information is to be edited,
    and then click the [Edit…] button.
    →The Group regist. window will be displayed.
    Step 3
    Click the [Set] button after editing the information.
    Refer to the Register a group section (page 46) for
    further information.
    →The Group regist. window will close and the set-
    tings will be saved and applied.
    Note:
    When a message window is displayed by clicking
    the [Set] button, refer to the Displayed messages
    and solutions section on page 73 and follow the
    instructions.

    Delete the group
    Step 1
    Display the Group page. (page 46)
    Step 2
    Select the group to be deleted. 
    Step 3
    Click the [Delete…] button.
    →The confirmation window will be displayed.
    Step 4
    Click the [OK] button.
    Notes:
    •When the group set as the default screen is delet-
    ed, -- will be displayed for the setting of Default
    screen on the Live window page. In this case, a
    black screen will be displayed in the image display
    area of the operation window just after login.
    •When a message window is displayed by clicking
    the [Delete…] button, refer to the Displayed mes-
    sages and solutions section on page 73 and follow
    the instructions.

    Register a sequence [Sequence]
    The registered groups can be registered in a sequence and it is possible to display images from cameras registered
    in the groups sequentially.
    Up to 64 groups can be registered in a sequence.
    Up to 10 sequences can be registered.
    Register a sequence
    Step 1
    Click the [Camera] button.
    Step 2
    Click the [Sequence] tab.
    →The Sequence page will be displayed.The following are descriptions about each item dis-
    played on the Sequence page.
    Registered sequence
    The registered sequences will be displayed in list form.
    [Add…] button
    The Sequence regist. window will be displayed.
    [Edit…] button
    The Sequence regist. window of the sequence
    selected from the list will be displayed.
    [Delete…] button
    The sequence selected from the list will be deleted.
    Number of sequence
    Number of the registered sequences will be displayed.
    Step 3
    Click the [Add…] button.
    →The Sequence regist. window will be displayed.
