1.1.1 Why Voice Processing?
The VPS handles incoming and outgoing calls. When a call comes in, it answers, forwards to 
appropriate extensions, takes and stores messages, and notifies subscribers when messages are 
left. Subscribers may send and transfer messages to other subscribers within the system. The 
VPS is easy to use, helping callers through the system with step-by-step voice prompts.

The KX-TVS75/100/200 does not support:
UCD functions 
UCD (Uniform Call Distribution) is a service that distributes calls evenly among extensions 
and returns to callers to say that all extensions are busy. Calls can be forwarded by the KX-
TVS75/100/200 to the KX-TD1232/816/308 floating number of a UCD group. The call then

1.3.1 KX-TVS75 vs. KX-TVS100/200
The primary difference between the KX-TVS75 and the KX-TVS100/200 is that the KX-
TVS75 is not expandable. The TVS75, 100, and 200 models are programmed identically. The 
KX-TVS75 is initially configured with 2 ports and 6 h of storage. The KX-TVS100 is initially 
configured with 2 ports and 18 h of storage. The KX-TVS200 has 12 digital or 6 analog ports 
and 32 h of storage.

System Components
AC Inlet:
