54 Intercom (Cordless\Handset) (Base\Unit) A 2-way intercom is possible between the cordless handset and the base unit. Paging the base unit from the cordless handset 1 Cordless handset: Press (CLEAR/INTERCOM/HOLD). Talk to the paged party after the beeps. ≥“Intercom” is displayed. 2 Base unit: When the other party’s voice is heard, lift the handset or talk into the MIC. 3 To end the intercom, press (OFF)on the cordless handset. OR When using the handset, place the handset on the cradle. When using the speakerphone, press (LOCATOR/INTERCOM). “Special Features 60 Security Code Setting (Cordless\Handset\&\Base\Unit) If “No link to base. Walk closer to base & try again” is displayed even if you use the cordless handset near the base unit, the cordless handset may lose communication with the base unit. It is necessary to set the same security code between the base unit and cordless handset.
