    Playback/Editing
    Using the [Playback] Menu
    With this menu, you can use various playback functions such as cropping and other 
    editing of recorded images, protect settings, etc.
    •
    With [Clear Retouch], [Text Stamp], [Time Lapse Video], [Stop Motion Video], [Resize] or 
    [Cropping], a new edited picture is created. A new picture cannot be created if there is no free 
    space on the card so we recommend checking that there is free space before editing the 
    picture.
    Playback methods for the 3D pictures can be switched.
    •This is a menu that is only displayed when 3D playback is possible. Refer to P292 for details.
    You can play back the pictures you have taken in synchronzation with music, and you can 
    do this in sequence while leaving a fixed interval between each of the pictures.
    You can also put together a slide show composed of only still pictures, only motion 
    pictures, only 3D pictures etc.
    We recommend this feature when you view your  pictures by connecting the camera to a 
    TV.
    1Select the menu.
    2Touch the group to play back.
    •Refer to P292  for the method to play back [3D] pictures in 
    3D.
    •In [Category Selection], touch the category you wish to play 
    back.
    For details on categories, refer to  P225.

    ∫Operations during a slide show
    •
    Normal playback resumes after the slide show finishes.
    ∫ Changing the slide show settings
    You can change the settings for slide show playback by selecting [Effect] or [Setup] on the 
    slide show menu screen.
    [Effect]
    This allows you to select the screen effect s when switching from one picture to the next.
    [AUTO], [NATURAL], [SLOW], [SWING], [URBAN], [OFF]
    •
    When [URBAN] has been selected, the picture may appear in black and white as a screen 
    effect.
    •[AUTO] can be used only when [Category Selection] has been selected. The pictures are 
    played back with the recommended effects in each category.
    •[Effect] is fixed to [OFF] when in [Video Only] or during the slide show for [ ], [ ], [ ] in 
    [Category Selection].
    •Even if [Effect] is set, it does not work during a slide show of Group Pictures.•While viewing pictures in Portrait Mode (vertical), some selections in the [Effect] feature are 
    disabled.

    [Duration] can be set only when [OFF] has been selected as the [Effect] setting.•When playing back the following pictures, the [Duration] setting is disabled.–Motion pictures

    The location information (longitude/latitude) acquired by the smartphone/tablet can be 
    sent to the camera and written in images.
    Preparation:
    Sending location information to the camera from the smartphone/tablet.
    •
    You need to install “Panasonic Image App” on your smartphone/tablet.  (P248)
    •Read the [Help] in the “ Image App ” menu for further details on how to operate.
    1Select the menu.
    2Touch the period you intend to write location information on.
    •Confirmation screen is displayed. It is executed when [Yes] is selected.
    •The location information is recorded onto images.•Images with location information are indicated with [ ].
    ∫To pause the recording of location information
    While location information is being written, touch [Cancel].
    •
    During a suspended period, [ ±] is displayed.
    Select the period with [ ±] to restart the recording process from the picture you left off.
    ∫ To delete the received location information
    1Select the menu.
    2Touch the period you intend to delete location information from.
    •Confirmation screen is displayed. It is executed when [Yes] is selected.
    •Location information can be written only to images taken on this camera.
    Not available in these cases:
    •
    Location information will not be written on pictures taken after the location information had been 
    sent  (P255) .
    •Location information is not written onto the images recorded when [Rec Format] is set to 
    [AVCHD].
    •When there is insufficient free space on the card, location information might not be able to be 
    written.
    •When the card is locked, location information cannot be written onto the images or received 
    location information cannot be deleted.

    You can erase unnecessary parts recorded on the pictures taken.
    •The erasure operation can only be performed by touching. [Clear Retouch]  automatically 
    enables the touch operation.
    1Select the menu.
    2Drag the screen horizontally to select an image, and then touch [Set].3Drag your finger over the part you want to delete.
    •The parts to be erased are colored.•Touching [Undo] returns the colored parts to a previous 
    state.
    4Touch [Set].
    •Preview screen is displayed.
    5Touch [Save].
    •Confirmation screen is displayed. It is executed when [Yes] is selected. 
    Exit the menu after it is executed.

    Erasing details (enlarging the display)
    1 Touch [SCALING].
    •
    The screen is enlarged.•Pinching out/pinching in (P17) the screen allows 
    you to enlarge/reduce it.
    •Enlarge/reduce can also be performed by rotating 
    the rear dial.
    •Dragging the screen allows you to move the 
    enlarged part.
    2 Touch [REMOVE].
    •Operation returns to that of selecting the parts you 
    want to delete. The parts you want to delete can be 
    selected while the enlargement is maintained.

    •Pictures may appear unnatural because the background of deleted parts is artificially created.•For group pictures, perform [Clear Retouch] on each picture. (They cannot be edited at once.)•When [Clear Retouch] is performed on group pict ures, they are saved as new pictures separate

    You can add text (comments) to pictures. After text has been registered, it can be stamped 
    in prints using [Text Stamp]  (P230).
    1Select the menu.

    •Exit the menu after it is set.
    •To delete the title, erase all the text in the text input screen.
    •You can print out texts (comments) using the “ PHOTOfunSTUDIO ” bundled software on the 
    CD-ROM (supplied).
    •You can set up to 100 pictures at one time with [Multi].

    You cannot use [Title Edit] for the following pictures.
    –Motion pictures–Pictures taken with [ ], [ ] or [ ]–Pictures recorded with other equipment
